Handy Keyboard Shortcuts for Window XP
Most of PC Users todays are all used on Menu-driven commands and yet neglecting some useful keyboard shortcuts that will speed up your task.
Here are some of keyboard commands you might find useful:
1. [F1] - Get Context Sensitive help for the desktop, folders and dialog boxes.
2. [F2] - Rename a file or icon on the desktop for within a folder.
3. [F3] - Search for a file or folder by opening the Search dialog box.
4. [F4] - Display the Address bar to find out your current folder location.
5. [F5] - Update of refresh the current active window.
6. [SHIFT] [CD] - Hold down [Shift] when you insert a CD to prevent AutoPlay performing.
7. [SHIFT] [DELETE] - Delete a file entirely, rather than sending it to the Recycle Bin.
8. [F8] - Hold down [F8] while starting Window XP for a selective startup in Safe mode.
9. [WINDOW LOGO] [M] - Minimise everything on your desktop.
